Our Director of Children's Programs,
Cathy Bengson
has agreed to temporarily take on the job of Executive Director.
Cathy Bengson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in religion and theater and a minor in education from Capital University in Columbus, OH. She has been an education consultant and curriculum writer for Augsburg Fortress Publishing as well as a social worker and drama director.

The Board of Directors has accepted with great regret the resignation of our founding Executive Director, Orion Monroe.
"I have decided to put all of my energy into finishing a Masters Degree in the field of Economics. This does not leave time for me to continue my struggles with X*ACT. I believe that the board can come together to locate a person or persons that will have the ability to steer the organization in a positive and productive direction."
We all wish Orion the best of luck in his future pursuits and extend to him our most sincere appreciation for the uncounted hours that he has devoted to our organization during his tenure. The progress that we have made in creating a permanent home for the arts in Xenia is nothing short of astounding. Due in large part to the vision and hard work of Orion Monroe, we are confident that we will continue to grow and prosper.
